Megan Reed Named Court Executive Officer

The Lassen County Superior Court is pleased to announce Ms. Megan Reed has been named the new Court Executive Officer.

Ms. Reed has been a resident of Lassen County for thirty-two years attending local schools and is a Lassen High School graduate. She has been employed with the Lassen Superior Court for eighteen years starting out as a file clerk and advancing through the court to include supervisory roles leading up to her being named Acting Court Executive Officer for the past three months.

Ms. Reed has proven herself more than capable of competently and ethically leading the administrative side of the court which includes supervision of all staff, overseeing budget and policy, and ensuring the court is up to date with all Judicial Council rules as well as all new legislation emanating from the California legislature.

Ms. Reed displays excellent people skills in supervising staff, interacting with the Court’s justice partners and the public. She understands the mission of the Court is to serve the public in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. She is the epitome of the model public servant and is keenly aware we are here to serve those who have business with the Court, treating each person with business before the Court with dignity and grace.

Ms. Reed brings institutional knowledge and integrity to the position coupled with an excellent work ethic and clarity of purpose. She is ethical, personable and an asset to the Court as well as the community.
