Fraud Alert: Traffic Ticket Phone Scam
The court has been alerted to a fraudulent traffic payment scam targeting Lassen County residents.
We have received a number of reports related to a phone scam/fraud regarding outstanding traffic tickets. The scammers identify themselves as an employee of the Lassen Superior Court or other local agency and may use the name of a current court employee or law enforcement officer.
