EMAIL OUTAGE:

Due to a widespread Microsoft outage, the Court is currently unable to reliably send or receive emails.

Jan 22, 2026, 4:20 PM UPDATE: This issue persists, and at this time Microsoft has not provided an estimated time for restoration. As a result, the Court's Fax Filing system and other services that rely on email are currently unavailable.

Any fax filings, records request, traffic add-on requests, or other email-dependent submissions sent since approximately 11:30 AM on Jan. 22, 2026 will not be received or processed until email service is restored.

For assistance, please call the Court at (530) 251-8205 during normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM). 

This message will be updated as more information becomes available or removed once the issue is resolved.

CourtCall Appearance

The Lassen Superior Court permits parties to make telephonic remote appearances via CourtCall, LLC in certain civil, unlawful detainer, probate cases, and Title IV-D family support cases.

Local Rules of Court, Rule 6.1 establishes Lassen Superior Court's rules on CourtCall Telephonic Appearances. Please see California Rules of Court 3.670 for additional information regarding telephonic appearances.

CourtCall appearances are scheduled, in writing, in advance, by serving on all parties to the action and delivering (via fax, mail, or personal delivery) to CourtCall, not less than 5 court days prior to the hearing date, Request for CourtCall Telephonic Appearance form LSC-MIS-025, and by paying the stated fee or fee waiver for each CourtCall appearance.

Important Notice

Recording a court proceeding through any means is prohibited unless/until the judicial officer specifically grants permission to record as per CA Rules of Court, Rule 1.150(c) & (d).

A violation of this rule may result in the imposition of sanctions as set forth in subsection (f) of Rule 1.150.
